Drake Released his new Mixtape "Dark Lane Demo Tapes"
Drake revealed his new mixtape titled Dark Lane Demo Tapes which is out and available by Friday, 1st of May, 2020. Fans are expecting some new and special from Drake.
The album includes some leaks and some joints from SoundCloud and some new vibes said by Drake.
The mixtape consists of 14-song tracklist and "Toosie Slide" is one of the songs from this mixtape that Drake released a few weeks ago.The track, which came with a music video that gave the world a peek inside the musician's lavish home in Toronto, debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100, becoming his seventh leader and his third cut to start in the first place. It is currently charting at No. 2 on the all-genre songs list.
The project also features a handful of tunes that have been released before, such as "War", "Chicago Freestyle" and "Desire", which features frequent collaborator Future.
Speaking of collaborators, the Dark Lane Demo Tapes features two tracks with Future and others with Chris Brown, Playboi Carti, Young Thug and a handful of newer names who will surely benefit from their inclusion.
Dark Lane Demo Tapes is Drake's first full-length release since 2019's Care Package, which similar to this upcoming drop, wasn't labeled as a proper album, but rather a set of previously-released tunes that had never been properly compiled. His last mixtape (at least what he called a mixtape) was 2015's What a Time to Be Alive with Future. That title went straight to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, as did 2017's More Life, which some refer to as a mixtape, but which Drake named a "playlist project".
At the same time he announced Dark Lane Demo Tapes, Drake revealed that his next album isn't far behind. The hip-hop powerhouse stated that his sixth album, which doesn't have a name or proper release date just yet, will arrive at some point this summer, which means the musician is going to give fans two complete full-lengths just months apart from one another.
